Hope you all are doing well! I wanted to share with you my morning routine before I head off to do some tasks ( I am a tasker for Taskrabbit if you didn’t know).
I wake up around 7:00 am – 7:15 am but if I am a bit lazy than it sometimes 7:30 am. I try to be out to the Gym or running by 8:00 am. I work out in the mornings because I have a hard time doing anything after a full day of work or film sets. I know if I get it out of my way, then I am successful and I just feel more accomplished. 🙂 Monday, Wednesday and Friday I am usually at the Gym. Tuesday, Thursday and 1 of the days of the weekend, I am running or training with someone for an upcoming race. I am actually training for Bay to Breakers so I am fully diligent in keeping my routine as is at the moment. *Side Note: I have been working on hills and I still need more work but man it is tough!
Once I am done with my workout, I get back around 9:30 or 10 am, I either take a shower right away or if not then I was my face with Mark Kay Cleanser and then put moisturizer on.
Then I am eating breakfast either oatmeal, eggs with toast or my ultimate favorite Cereal 🙂 I love cereal and I can eat it every single day without getting tired of it. My parents have called me the Cereal Killer and I am proud of that. * Side Note I don’t eat a lot of sugary cereals like I used to, so I like to stay more with the protein base ones or the sort of healthy choices as it comes.
After breakfast than I go to the bathroom to brush my teeth, floss and mouthwash. I am a horrible flosser so I have been trying to build a habit to floss every day or at LEAST every other day. So far I have been good. After the bathroom, then I will get ready for the day. As a Tasker I try to be pretty comfortable but also flexible in what I am wearing. Jeans, t-Shirt, and walkable shoes are pretty much go to outfit, but I have worn leggings , blouse or a regular T-Shirt and just plain sneakers if I know I am going to build up a sweat for the day.
Once I am all done, then I make myself some lunch for later or I bring a big snack if I know I won’t be too long for whatever my tasks need of me. Usually I have to make a lunch and then I just gather all my work bits ( Laptop, Notes, Post Its, Sharpies, Chargers, Etc..) put them all in my work bags and head off. Lots of my task don’t start until 12pm or 1pm, which gives me enough time to get everything set up and ready.
And that’s my morning routine when I am tasking. 🙂
